i have always heard they are too hard to keep in a tank because they don't have enough room to swim around...however i remember seeing moon jellies which are some of my favs in a tank at and a state aquarium and i believe the tank was pretty small in gallons but it was pretty tall.

Jellyfish are not practical for home fishkeeping. The only one that will work at all sits upsidedown at and below the surface of a sand bottomed tank. Furthermore, they are very fragile, can get large, and wont live long.
Normal looking jellyfish need to be housed in very special tanks. Some jellyfish tanks even resemble ferriswheels.
