I've actually never had any jigsaw/picasso clowns, though I wish I do. The pics I've posted weren't mine.
The first four pics are of the male in ORA's broodstock pair. The female is a regular true perc. ORA has dubbed this strain as picasso clowns. Pics credited to Anthony.

...and here's what the majority of their offspring look like. None have as much white as the father. Pic belongs to Huey aka embryoguy.
At the moment it's hard to find any jigsaw/picasso clowns. ORA hasn't been selling much as they grow more broodstock pairs.

Here's one more of Huey's cool jigsaw clown (next two pics). This guy is a wild caught specimen, not from ORA.
The third pic is Glindac's and if I remember correctly she said her clown is also wild caught.
Enjoy

You can ask your LFS to order some from ORA and they'll look like the clowns in pic 5. Or like Huey and Glindac, keep an eye out at the fish stores to see if any wild clowns come in with interesting patterns.

Those clowns are very interesting.... you can tell they dont like their coloration patters though.. look how miserable some of them look!

thats it?? i would've thought they were more... they're such beautiful fish... so are they any different from a regular percula? like care wise?

Nope, they're not different than regular percs.
I just want to make it clear that you shouldn't expect to find any ORA jigsaw clowns that have as an extreme pattern as the father in pics 1-4 or the wild caughts in pics 6-8. All of the offspring pretty much look like the ones in pic 5.

Viper,
is it really rare to find a clown with the color pattern to the extreme of the father in pics 1-4?

I can't really put a number to it, but yes it's extrememly rare to find a clown with a pattern like that.
If you really like that clown you should look into getting snowflake clowns. I wish I could tell you where you can get a pair, but forum rules do not permit me to and I won't say through email either. If you really want a pair spend an hour or two scouring other forums and asking people who already have a pair and you'd be able to find a couple good sources.

We get the

[hr]
clowns and black and whites from ORA all the time...and the jigsaws are supposed to be coming in soon. They will cost a whole lot more than 40$ though...and we are here in Fla. where they breed them at ORA.
