Hi all,
I'm joining the 'contribution' crowd after reading this site for about 6 months. I was a life time freshwater guy, but when I built a new house I left a spot for a salt tank. I researched for over 18 months before I took the plunge. My tank has been up for 2 months now and things are getting interesting. Just last week I added a reef package from swf. With all the critters that came in on my initial load of live rock, and the reef package, I can't stop watching the tank. I even have a magnifying glass to catch all the 'micro' action.
This site has been absolutely invaluable as I PATIENTLY 'grow' my tank. Thanks to all, and I'll start being more of a participant, than bystander.

Welcome!! Between watching the tank and swimmin' around in here, you will run out of time for everything else. :D
Good luck with the tank. Before you know it you will have another one set up. Our 2nd one will be set up this xmas break.:)

its funny how you kind of think (just like expecting a child) with these tanks. My husband has been carefully plotting the new one out.

Welcome aboard!
This site should help you out alot. I know if it wasnt for SWF.COM i would still have CC and a UGF along with my NO light.....trying to keep coral :(
