Jumped ship last night

I discovered my 4-line wrasse lying dead on the floor last night after jumping out of the tank. There is only a small opening that isn't covered but he managed to find it. I have not read where these fish are "jumpers." Did I miss something?

Every wrasse is considered a jumper basically... I had a good size rare Pyle's fairy wrasse thread the needle through eggcrate and end up dead...
Regardless of what fish you have, you should secure everything... I know of many people who have lost prized fish they've had for years in an unsecured tank... Even fish that aren't known for jumping may occasionally do so, but i don't there is any group of fish more known for jumping than wrasses...
