Jumping (I think) Yellow Watchman Goby

I just got, last wednesday, a yellow watchman goby (see sig for rest of inhabitants) and my maroon clown didn't really like it and messed with it a little bit.
It seemed to not mess with it that much anymore, and last night the goby was fine sitting on the bottom of the tank, i got up this morning and i couldn't find the goby, i thought it was just hiding so i didn't pay to much attention to it.
I looked tonight and finally went looking for it, thinking it maybe went carpet diving, and i couldn't find it. I read on here and found that they like overflow so i searched my overflow for it and there it was.
Took me a half hour to get it out of my overflow, anyone have a way to stop this, or anyone else have this problem?
I have now tried to jumproof my tank, but was also wondering if anyone had any suggestions on jumproofing the tank?

egg crate on top........OR maybe rearrange some rock work so the clown isn't so territorial. The first clown we had was that way and we just changed some rock around when the lights were off.
