Junk on bottom of my tank

I moved most of my rocks from my 90 to a 29g tank. The 29 is going to be a bare bottom tank. Now after I moved my rocks and everything settled down, I have this crap on the bottom of my tank. It looks like dust and just junk. Should I vacume it out or let it stay there?

its just detritus...i would just leave it in....its probably got a lot of good food for the bacteria that will be cycling your new tank!

Big Mac I thought of that, by thin layer do you mean around 1/2 inch?
