Just a Coralline Question

Coralline algae can be green and red right? Theres what I believe to be coralline growing or some of my LR. Its growing like my purple coralline does, spot a first and grows like a circle getting larger. Ill get pics if I can, but Im like 90% sure it is. The red is a deep, scarlet kind of red, and definitely is growing similar to coralline. Both have a calcerous feel to them. Just need to make sure its possible to have all 3 kinds growing in the same tank, and that they exist.

Coraline comes in a variety of colors - I've even had some in pink and yellow hues. As long as it is not slimy to the touch then you are probably correct in your assumption.

Its definitely calcerous, not slimey. I just have never imagined having 3 different colors in my tank when in most tanks I see huge rocks of purple.

Agree - the purple seems to be the dominate coraline - it usually tends to beat out the other colors
