just added 4 more pounds of lr today help

i added 4 lbs of lr to my tank today, hopefully it wont slow down the cycle too much... i want to add another 4 lbs tommorrow, my tank has been cycling for about 7 days and opinions on how much the cycle will get backed up with these additions? if any time?

If the rock was cured then it should speed up your cycle because any additional die off will be quickly taken care of by the beneficial bacteria that you added in with the 4 lbs

no the lr was uncured, so it will probably slow it down huh? so how much longer will the process take then?

You aren't really far into your cycle. I say pile all the live rock in now while you can.

Go ahead and get all of your live rock in the tank before you cycle bro, trust me. The wait may seem atrocious, but it is well worth it to do it correctly and with no critters in the tank.
