some mushrooms to my tank. they have been in for about 40 minutes, they are still really small. when i got them they were huuuge. is this normal?

yes its normal. Dont put them up where you want them at first you should acclimate them to the light. So for the first day leave them on the sand bed. The next day move them up a little, etc until you get them where you wanted them.
They just need time to adjust and get comfortable.

I think they will be fine. It may take them a couple of days to get used to their new environment. They look like nice mushrooms. Congratulations and I hope they do well for you.

they look healthy to me. they should open fully in the next couple days.

okay! they have opened a little more! I also bought a xenia and its "claws" (i dont know what they are called.) are limp. is this normal also??

ya i got a free frag of xenia a week or 2 ago, and it took mine like 5 days till it opened up really good, took like 3 days for it to look not really bad like it did when i brought it home (it had a long drive and wasnt happy)

it is now day 5 and im a little worried... i bought these mushrooms on wedneday, and they havent gotten to their noramal size yet (which is about a quarter size, or smaller) is this normal??? heres some pics.

no just light, make sure they don't get too much flow or they will never open up. mushrooms are very hardy and yours look fine. what are you parameters?
