Will this 72 watt lighting setup work well for a reef tank?
is the lighting combo i chose ok?, it could have neen all 3 lights were 10000k but i figured 2 50/50 and one actinic was a nice mix.
i also got the Remora Nano protein Skimmer, an extra maxijet 900 pump to replace the stock pump.
Can anyone suggest some other gagets I'll need? I still need a test kit. I'll use 17 lbs of nice live rock, 10 lbs live sand, or more? or less? Chaeto in the fuge and live rock rubble in the filter. Does the chaeto go on top of the live rock in one of the chambers, or does it stay by itself?, where does the activated carbon go, in the last chamber?
any suggestions welcome

I got the 12 gla delux last year for Christmas. I LOVE IT!! I got the maxijet 900 pump too, I added a wave maker to my nozzel thing and i like that alot. I got a protien skimmer, used it for a month or two then took it out. I didn't like it.
I have 20 lbs. of LS in my tank.
In the first chamber I left the sponge, the second chamber I have my heater, the third chamber I have a bag of purigen and my pump in the last chabber. This has worked good for me for the last year.
I also use the nano reef A+B. My back wall is almost covered with coraline algae. My wave maker nozzle, my magnet scrub thing and most of my hermit crabs are totally covered. Here's a picture from last month.

Good luck with yours and hope to see some pictures!
