Just Bought My First Tank

Hi All,
I just bought a used glass 80 gal with a custom stand and canopy.
It came with a G-2 Protein Skimmer, a Tetra Tech U.V. Blub II, 96x2 Power Compact System, an overflow box, Sedra Pump and return, a 40 gal sump, and a Magnum canister filter 350.
I'm planning on FOWLR. Any suggestions or opinions if this is good to start? Do I need to use the Canister Filter?
Also, what can I use to clean out the inside of the tank?

Sounds like a good start to me. Might want to read up on all little bits of info here on the board. But sounds like you got a good deal and are ready to start her up.
Not sure if you need the canister filter. Someone with more experience might be able to answer that. I have never used them myself. FOWLR should be a good start for you.
As for cleaning it out, vinegar works well. A spray bottle full of it and rinsed out with water gets a lot of the crap out. If that doesn't work a very mild solution of bleach can do it. Just make sure you completely rinse it out with water to make sure nothing remains.
