Just came back from a trip. What type of "surprises" have you come back to?

I was out of town for about 3 weeks. I just got back late last night, and the lights in the tank were already turned off by the timer. I had to plug it up for a second to see what was going on. Well here is what I found:
A huge bristleworm
A few huge copepods
A lot of mushrooms split alot (left with 7, and a few of those split, I just dont know how many there are now)
Tons of zoanthid growth
Candy Cane head now has two fully developed mouths, now the skeloton has to grow.
A lot of hair algae on one rock
Trachyphyllia Brain doesnt look so hot
And one of the coral fell on the sand, on a little part of the coral was touching the sand though.
Anyone else been gone, and come home to some type of surprises? Good or Bad.

I left on a week long vacation, after totally cleaning out my tank, filling my auto fish feeder, and making sure all my parameters were in check. When I came back i found two fish missing (no bodies, no skeleton, just totally gone), my bubble tip had started splitting, my Coral Banded shrimp was munching on my cleaner shrimp. I guess all in all it could have been a lot worse, although I really liked the two fish that went MIA. My theory is that the bubble tip ate them and then had enough energy to split. Not sure why it happened when I wasn't there though.

Well my firs trip I came back to algae growth, and one dead coral.

Second trip I came back to two fish dead. One had gone surfing off the back of the tank, and the second one just dissapeared. Also one of my clams died. This was probably due to the dead fish.

Last trip nothing happened as I took some measures to ensure it all worked out smoothly in my absence. However upon doing some water changes, I may have upset the whole system and one of my greeghorns started to die. I had to frag it to save some of it. The tank needed some dosing, so it took me almost a month to stabelize everything. I guess each trip is unique.

Just make sure when you leave, there are detailed instructions left behind for the tanksitter. It may be a good idea to get the sitter before leaving for the trip, to help doing some of the maintenance you do and ensure they get it right.
