Oh good, I thought my comp was just slow! I was wondering why it doesn't do it on any other site but this one. It didn't use to take that long am I right? Maybe I am just more impatient now :joy:

Probably to take some of the load off of the server. 10 secs isn't too bad. There are some sites that take 230 secs. It really sucks when you mispell what you're searching for lol.

My guess is that it is a safeguard to keep people from slamming the database with queries.
My other thought is that it could be a conspiracy!!!

Ive found that this time can be reduced to 9 seconds by doing 342 jumping jacks, power slamming 16 beers immeadiately aftewards and posting a Chuck Norris screen saver.
