Just finished setting mine up...

I just finished getting my 12g nano cube dx ready.
I added LR and LS and threw in a shrimp..
Will I be able to continue to add LR to it? I only bought 4lbs to start off, and I'd like a little more than that. how soon should I put it in?
Also, I read in another post where people worry about cracking in these models.
I have mine on a dresser... should I be concerned or will it be fine?
Also, do I leave the lights on all the time or turn them off sometimes?

you can add LR a peice at a time with no problems ...
if you have no animals in ther and dont plan to for a bit, you can add more than a peice at a time.
i dont know about the cracking.
lights should be on a 24hour timer. i run my lights about 8 hours a day .. that works for me .. see what works for you. but it should be right around there
