Just found coccon thing?

I was moving some of my corals around and noticed that there were what looks like a coccon smaller but shape and fluffy like (I'm sorry not great description, and no picture available) on the bottom of several of my rocks. However, they were hollow like a tube though, and I didn't see anything inside (I didn't look closely)

I figured as much. I will try.
It looks like a fluffy cotton ball but with the shape of a coccon and hollow. Could it be the start of some type of worm/duster, or maybe an egg.

I know I'm a newbie but it does sound like a Qtip I have 3 mayself check the posts looks just like it.

Nothing.....just a harmless filter feeder so i'm told............

Tubular calcareous sponge.
Yep it's a simple type of sponge, a harmless addition to tank biodiversity. Does well in well-fed tanks with a good population of sediment infauna.
