just got a 200 gallon

hi every one i have a 200 gallon now because i overcroded my 55 and wanted to get more fish but anyway i need advice for filtration ect on the 55 i have a eheim 2260 made to filter 400 gallons,can i use that and get a wet dry.And do i need a sump or am i ok and how deep should my sand bed be,can i use 300 pounds of rock or is that to much.:help:

your eheim should be fine by itself but i would use a skimmer too. how deep the bed should be is av ery broad question but i would say a couple inches. 300lbs is fine. i would put a couple powerheads in the tank though. those things flowrate is only like 500gph

you can have as much lr as you want. are you going to be building a reef or fowlr? i say around 3-4 inches on the sand bed as well. to get the full affects of the dsb. i also say if your goin reef then think about a refiguim.

thanks but what u mean get a refiguim how would that help me and i want 2 start a reef but with my 55 gallon the 200 is going 2 be a fowlr:notsure:
