Found one for sale locally (REALLY good deal so I couldn't pass it up) with the stand and everything. Only problem is the hood (lights) don't work but I'll get a new one.
Trying to decide what to put in it. I'm going to just get the regular hood (not the upgrade) so what kind of corals do okay under the lighting?
I'm also considering minimal corals and such and maybe going more the fowrl? I have so much stuff in my 40 that I really don't need all that in this one to care for as well.

It has nothing in the back chambers...any suggestions?

The lights dont work? Sounds like a perfect time to upgrade to metal halides!!

NO!!! If I do that I'll have another reef tank and spend way too much $$ on corals. At least I'm almost at the limit for the 40 gallon on them...another tank would break me!
Well...went to the lfs today and the guy was really pushing me to get a fu man chu they had there...any thoughts on it? Is the 24 too small for him? The guy said they are dwarfs, and it was really cool looking.

Okay...finally took a picture of the tank. Got the new hood (regular, not upgraded).
I ended up taking out the old live rock the tank came with (my friend now has it) and put a TON of the live rock I got from Isistius along with the two clowns I got from him as well (one is a misbar). The rock is gorgeous and so much coraline!! Also have a redlip blenny in there and for now (while it's small) a snowflake eel. Not sure how long he'll last in there though. Things that came in the tank was a condy anenome, I put my curly Q in there, and there were some shrooms and brown zoos (or palys?) on the rock.
I'm going to have to frag some of my stuff from the bigger tank to give it some more color.

Thats hot meh, can't wait to see that loaded with some nice coral. Oops didn't notice your not doing reef? sorry I just scrolled down to the picture :)

I might get the bug and put some frags from the bigger tank in there.

I was worried with the eel and originally I was just going to have the eel by itself in there...but along came the clowns and so now I'm undecided. The eel is a little aggressive as well when it eats so not quite sure what to do yet....but after seeing the tank with the new light and with that great live rock it's just screaming for corals to be added!!!!
