Just got an ASM G1 skimmer .. couple questions

I just put on my new ASM G1 skimmer on my 55g. I was wondering how I could control the amount of time the bubbles are in the chamber? I want to run the skimmer so the bubbles arent at the bottom of the cup but maybe toward the middle to top of the cup. Any ideas on how to achieve this or is the bottom of the cup where I want the bubbles to start?

i run mine half way up bubbles start in the middle of the cup.i love wet skimming

I have a ASM G2 skimmer. The tube that has the black round filter on it can move up and down. If you pull the tube up then the bubbles move higher towards the collection cup...the lower you move it the more the bubbles move down. Keep in mind your not moving the black round filter. What it sits on...I believe it is a gray tube....thats it what you move up and down. Hope that helps.
