just got my tank

I just got a complete setup from someone and
I'm hooked but don't know alot yet. Is it
normal for anemones that are healthy to
draw up into a little ball a few times a day?

depends on what else you have in there.... is it a new set-up??? or did you save all the water and move the tank to your house??? if so they could be digesting food.... what kind of lighting do you have?????? what size tank???? equipment????? ect....

If it does it more than once a day it is usualy an indication of bad water conditions (toxins)

Ihave just set up about 2 months ago now i must admit the best advice ever is get a good marine book possibly more to gain lots of knowledge on setting up and keeping marines, this way you will not look back months down the line and you think you should have done it this/that way......Just remember take your time.
P.S Anenomes do best in tanks that are fully mature (balanced eco system)
