Do you have a picture of that lion? I have not heard of a peacock. Is there another name for it? How big is it? Did you see it eat at the lfs? Lions eat meaty foods but you usualy have to start them with something live. Use ghost shrimp, not FW feeders.

its a volitan. Live fish to start, frozen krill if they will take it. I have a fumanchu that i feed omega3 Krill.
He ate a fire shrimp, and 2 chromis before though.

i think you can train them to eat about anything, i have a volitan that eats flake or anything else ill give him.

what the heck is a peacock lion? An antennata?
If i were you i would do a search for "lionfish info sheet", and read up on the husbandry of thee fish and figure out what you just bought, then figure out what to feed it.
Oh and BTW I suspect you'll need to pick up some live ghost shrimp for a few weeks to start the weaning process, unless it is a P Volitans
