OK,
So i started my 75g a little over a month ago, and I just started to get some stuff for it. He had some great prices, and gave me more then i went there for, for the price i wanted to spend.
i got some green favia
tyree war coral
a frogspawn with 5 heads, i only expected to get one or two(and i can count 5 more that i'll be having in a few months)
and a piece of stag horn as a freebie.

i'll post more pics when the frogspawn and the elk horn open up a bit more

Hey I like this tank. Tell us some more about it, specifically in my mind what is you filtration and do you plan a large bio load? Seems like a minimal amount of rockwork here but that would not be a problem if you are looking to do a primarily coral tank with few fish, or if you have the coup de gras in filtration.

well i def. want more rock, but that is all i was able to afford at the moment. I probably wont buy any more until i find someone selling it cheap again. I pretty much refuse to pay $7/lb. So for now i only have about 40lbs.
I don't have a heavy bioload for now, and don't plan on stocking too heavily. for now i have 2 clowns, a sixline and a lawnmower blenny. i'm not positive on what else i'm gonna get. I kinda want a yellow tang, but i don't know how i feel about getting a fish that the plan is to trade it in at the lfs. and then maybe 2 or 3 other small fish.
i have a 30g sump, with a asm-g1 skimmer. For now my flow isn't that great as i just have the mag7 return pump, and a small powerhead until i can afford 1 or 2 koralias. i'll probably get those before i put anything else in the tank.
and i have tek light t5 for lighting with 4 54w bulbs. 2 actinic, 2 daytime.
thats about all i can think of. any more questions?

You can find base rock for around $2 a pound. Doesnt look great in the short term but will come along quick with the tek5.

You got some very nice pieces there. Good luck with them. Looks like you have the start of a very nice system.

Two dollars apiece, but I'll take them off your hands for ten...You have some nice pieces there. Tell a little more about your water levels. Where's your calcium, alk, mag, phosphate's? As far as pricing I look to see what this site sells them for and you can get an idea of what you would pay if you ordered them off line. It would be a good idea to add some more flow as well.

well like i said, a couple koralias are next on my list to get, so probably a few weeks before i will get them. But things seem fine for now.
And i paid 80 for the 3 peices and got the 4th for free. sounds like a good deal to me as i saw peices of the same size war coral going for 90!
the frogspawn is doing fine, it opens huge. And it is cool to see the feeder tentical things extend out at night on the favia and war coral. The only thing that i can't tell if it is doing well or not is the stag horn. looks like i can see the tips of the polyps? on it sticking out, but not sure why they haven't fully extended.
i was also wondering if mahbe the war coral was getting too much light. it is about halfway up in the tank with direct light.
my snail says hello too!(those are his eyes right?)
