Just got some new lights and rock Yippy

I have a standard 55 In the beginning about 6 months ago I finished my stand and canopy But in my canopy I installed 13 watt shop lights 5 of them And thanks to all you peps posts and the board my tank went from this

I see you have lr in your tank now. Are you going to do a reef? If so your lights will not do the trick for you.

why it isn't enough 260 watts thats 4.7 watts per gallon. I relize I can't do like clams or other heavy or stong lighted corals but I can do some mushrooms, and some Anemones with some cool fish. Untill I get som MH with the PC's this would have to do.

I really don't think "shop lights" have the right spectrum of light to enabel your corals to live. Mushrooms maybe. But anemones NO way. Even if they were 4.7 wpg is not enough.

No no I don't have shop lights any more I got rid of them last night I now have custom sealife PC's

Oh I'm sorry. I must have miss read. You can do mushrooms and some other corals that take med light. I still don't think you have enough light for a anemone. I could be wrong but I think they need a lot of light. Sorry for the miss read.

No prob I've done that myself once or twice
I do have a rock anemone And he's doing great I had him for about 3 weeks even with the shop lights he likes the very bottom of the tank in the sand And I'm sure that with the new light setup he'll even do better then before. I feed him brine every once and awhile he eats like a pig.
