i woke up and my clown fish is COVERED in ich and no one is home to take me to the fishstore

hes not eating either. does anyone have any home made ideas that can help me.

Any more fish in the tank, if not then leave it fishless for at least 3 to 4 weeks or you may have the same problem again.

im done with fish for atleast a few months.. im gonna try and get alot more corals. i never have any luck with fish. and ive wasted so much money on my dead fish in my 22g that if i started a 55g at the beggining i would of saved. i just want to smash it

Well if you went to a 55 gallon the 22 would make a great QT tank. Also consider the source where you get your fish, those tanks could have ick at your LFS. The QT is a great money saver when hundreds of dollars are at stake.

but if i move on to a 55g tank it will be exspensive, im only 14 and i dont have a job. my parents are a little cheap but i know they can afford it. how much would a 55g reef tank be with just the dry parts

You could of course use equipment from the 22 and keep the 22 simple.
I spent quite a bit on my 55 back when. Not sure what you could get away with now.
Think Christmas and someday.
Perhaps it might be best if you were to just use the 22 to learn by and gain experience, this will give you time to find another source for fish and alot of time to learn from this site. Take what you have in your tank and learn all you can about it, gain expereince so that you can post to others about it.
While all that is going on you can always check the newspaper for used tanks and equipment, you never know what might come up.
Put your summer to good use and look for odd jobs around the nieborhood that you can do for xtra money.

i go on a trip to montana for christmas present to go snowboarding.. all the people in my neighborhood are old and never go outside to do anything, maybe there will be some fish stuff people just want to get rid of for free, my friend got a 55g with everything for free
