nfl, i ended up doing work in the hotel's business center:nope:
too much to do, too much to do.
but friday night i did go out on a cruise on John Wayne's yacht, Wild Goose, in the harbor. Wonderful night of wining and dining, and got to play poker on Wayne's famous poker table where the Rat Pack used to play.

Was that in Newport Harbour? My husbands family is great friends with the GATES family that bought John Waynes house right there in the harbour. I had dinner there (20 years ago) Mr Gates was a famous hunter and had a taxidermed 9 foot black bear standing in his study at that house. very imperssive to a 19 year old kid! (me)!
