These last six months I have been obsessed with my whole fish display! There never seems like enough has been done, or like there's never enough stuff read, or things bought.
Look how many posts I've made here lately. I've spent countless dollars and spent countless hours on DIY projects.
I've talked people’s ears off about fish over and over again when they don't care at all! Addiction, I say. So just how addicted are YOU???

don't even get me started. my wife is so tired of hearing about this and that about the tank and she was the marine biology major!

Its a true hobby to me. Always tinkering but its what I wanted and I am loving it.

waterfaller1 here is shower in bedroom. Main bathrrom is setup with scoobydoo. I assume your setup is probably like mine too.

Well all I can say is thank God for this board where all of us addicts can come and contemplate all sorts of things that would totally bore other people in our lives. No one on here thinks you are crazy when you obsess over you tank...They join in and help. Here you not only get to obsess over your own tanks, you can obsess over everybody elses too! Lesley

I wake up and the first thing I think of is my fish
They eat before I eat
I have pictures of my tanks with me at all times
I got a part time job at my LFS for the discount
I am commissioning a painting to be done of my aqaurium
I am getting one of my arms tattooed with all my fish
I have 5 aquariums at home and feel its not enough
SEND ME TO THE MENTAL HOSPITAL!

I'm not as obsessed as PuffyGirl but i do think about it all day at school. Kinda helps me get rid of some of the stress of hard classes.

This post has made me bust a gut so far! So funny what we all do. I love all the fish paraphernalia! Just love it... keep the stories coming... they make me feel normal!

FYI - I don't condone or support the use of this, because just like cigs, it can cause lung cancer in mammals. I'm sorry if anyone thought I was glorifying it, but education on the matter is family-appropriate. I was just wondering what 1/1,000,000th the dose could do to fish. Good opportunity to explain to your kids what it really is and why to avoid it. I know animals are tested on for everything and anything unfortunately. However, I think a question regarding it is LEGITAMITE and APPROPRIATE, and it's now legal where I'm from. My piranha is illegal in your country but not here, so does that mean talking about it is wrong too? Just had to say it...)

I don' t have online access in my apartment, so I go next door to my folks' unit to use their computer -- and since I've been working at home the past 6 weeks, i've coming on here all the time, mostly to post questions on here.
Well, today I was talking to my dad on the phone and he said my step-mom had asked him, with real concern today:
"What do you think it means that everytime I look at the computer, there are fish on the screen?!"
So he say's, "Well, hon, it's better than a lot of other stuff he could be looking at on there!"
To which I say, "Yowza! That's a hottie of a square-spot anthias!"
Maybe it's time I started dating again....

My backdoor door stop...... I could go on and on........we have fish stuff everywhere..

Actually we just moved, and believe it or not.....I had to make misses sammystingray get rid of a LOT of fish stuff......including three tanks (too much work), a full size fishing net hanging on the wall, tons of whale, dolphin, and related wall pics, our fish shower curtain, fish toilet seat, fish shower mat, fish welcome mat, fish stick ons on every mirror possible, crystal fish hanging in the window, etc etc etc.......it was actually getting crazy.......she simply loves the ocean.....we are a match made in heaven......there's a point to stop though. I can deal with all the ceiling fans having glass fish pull strings, and that mermaid outfit she wears on "special" nights, but sometimes it gets to be too much.
