just lost a hippo

i had this hiipo tang for a bout 2 weeks and he got these tiny silver bubbles all over his body and his blue was starting to fade. he was eating fine then all of a sudden ,gone. now my yellow tang is starting to get some debris on his fins and chromis is trying to clean it off . he`s also rubbing his body on sand bed.also tomato clown seems to be turning black .help i think tank is in trouble . its a 55 fowlr.

Silver bubbles? Your sure it wasn't ich? Sounds like it from the other symptoms. Do you have a QT?
Clowns change coloration as they mature.

I don't know if this will help or not, and some people may disagree, but my last tank I had a blue hippo tang and a yellow tang. The blue tang started to look a little sick like he might have had ich, so I went out and bought a cleaner wrasse, put that little fella in the tank and he went straight to the blue tang, cleaned him up in a few days. I had that tang for over a year before I sold the tank and he never had another problem, I think the little guy solved em, You can lose a lot of dinero and beautiful fish making little mistakes, this seemed to help me from doing that, just my 2 cents for whatever that is worth.
