It was wonderful. In fact, I left the scoop out so I could get some more. I've been looking at soft serve machines for the kitchen. The ULTIMATE kitchen gadget would be a soft serve machine like the chinese buffets have.

Good idea. Never thought of that.
Maybe I could trade off some 17" tires and other stuff from my garage that was going on kragenlister anyway.
My house would be THE place for my daughter's friends to hang out.

I agree Mint Choco is my fav too, although I will pass on the soft serve. Its gotta be like stone frozen for me. But its weird, its like brushing your teeth and eating a chocolate bar at the same time. Sounds gross, but still we love mint chocolate ice cream...

Ice cream, my other addiction, there's no way I could have a soft serve in the house, I would eat myself to death. tis the time of year I start doing home made ice cream, sometimes I dump some cookie dough in it.
After it freezes I usually nuke it for about 15 sec. also, still hard but easier to get out of the container. my next goal is a white mountain ice cream maker, they are one of the best, if I can just quit spending so much on my fish tank I could save up for one.

Are we talkin' the green mint chocolate chip or the white?? I like the white (Breyers) but the green tastes like mouthwash to me.

It was the green kind, but I'm not paticular when it comes to ice cream. I pretty much eat any flavor. I especially like cookies~n~cream.
Best ice cream I've ever had was Graeters.

Never heard of that.
I didn't like the mint when it first came out, then about a year or so ago I tried the white. I liked it.
I think I like sherbet better though.
But your nuking thing, I do that too.
I also keep my freezer on #2 -5 being coldest, so that I can scoop the ice cream easily and it's not as hard as a rock

I thought I was the only weirdo that microwaves ice cream! My favorite thing to do is crush up a couple of ice cream cones to mix in with the softened ice cream. Since the cone is my favorite part, you get the taste of it in every spoonful!

my favorite is to make home made and crumble oreo cookies in it.

That does it, it's 80 degrees here and I'm going home and making ice cream.
