ok so ive wanted a picotope for a while and just ordered it and im so exited!!so what equipment do i need for it...heaters,sand,etc

In my 3 gal I had 1 sexy, 4 tiny nass snails, 2 large nass snails, 1 orange trochus snail, 6 tiny hermits, 2 med hermits, 8 different coral frags, and a false perc.
That worked well for 3 months, and now I have doubled the tank size.
I think a clown goby would be best because they are perchers. The perc (like most percs) wanted to swim all day. That doesn't work well in 1.5-2 gal of water.
The sexy shrimp is a must IMO. She romps around and never hides. Very cool.

Both shrimp are pretty cool, but I am going with sexy shrimp, 'cuz they're hilarious. I think a pair in a small tank will rock. Good luck on your tank, and we'll compare once we're both all set up! It seems that we both have just about everything in common, including the times we go to the lfs, so we'll see who's better at setting up a nano! lol...
