Well,
A guy at work knew a guy that had a "big" salt tank a while back, but it was just sitting in his garage. I talked to him, and it ended up being a 150gal. He said he would take 75 for everything, since he didnt plan on setting it back up. Its 6ft by 28 tall by 18 front-back.
I it has a sigle overflow, drilled through the bottom, with a wet dry appx 30gal i think. full of bio balls. It is pretty dusty, and has some water spots, but should clean up well.
Anyways, my questions are,
What pump should I use for the return pump, with just the single overflow. Or really, just how big. I will have two or 3 powerheads in the tank.
The overflow looks like they used a whole tube of caulk to put it on, should I try to recaulk, or just leave it. The tank walls seem ok, but if the need recaulked, how do I go about this.
What would be a good way to clean the bioballs?
Thanks everyone, I'll try to post some pics to give you guys an idea of what im dealing with.

witecap, need to know what the size is on the bulkhead(internal diameter), that will help approximate what size pump you need. Bioballs, if it's just dust, use plain hot water and rinse them real good, I dunno how others would feel about this but if I was cleaning bioballs that I had no idea where they'd been, I would soak them in 10 to 1 bleach solution for 30 min. then rinse the heck out of them with hot water and let them air dry. I would redo the caulking on the overflow, it'll save you some hassle and regret later. As long as the caulking on the tank itself looks good, I wouldn't mess with it. If you get tired of having to buy salt to fill a 150 gallon tank, I'll give you my address and you can ship it to me, I'll even pay for shipping:D

Looks like I might have to recaulk. I took the shop vac to it, and the caulk is starting to peal up at the edge. What is the best way to do this. Do I just take a razor and clean the old off, but leave it inbetween the glass, and just recaulk in the corner? Also, do i need any special caulk, I know that there is special caulk for aquariums, but isnt that just 100% silicon?
The bulk head(I assume that you mean the outlet at the bottom of the over flow) is just shy of 1", maybe like 15/16 or 7/8. What size of pump will be sufficient.
Also, filter is 3ft long x 18 tall x 12 wide. Any ideas what brand this might be?
Thanks for all the help.

Was this tank made by someone on thier own? The reason I ask is ther is no plastic cover on the top edge of the glass. You will need to cover the edge or you will cut your arms when doing maintnence.

I think it was, the guy i got it from bought the whole setup(w/ fish) from some lady who had it running for a while. Its probably 8-10 years old, but thats about all the history i know about it. The cutting on the top isnt lever across the thickness of the glass, but is straight from side to side, so, that also leads me to believe it was a DIY.

Good point slick! I'd suggest using some plastic channels, they come in (I think) 3/8" and 1/2" and are about 8 feet long, pick them up at Home Depot for about 2 bucks per. They're made to "finish" the edges of drywall, so check that section.

Thats really not that big of an issue, its not really that sharp, and its going to have a canopy on it 95% of the time. If I am at the depot, I look for those things. Hopefully they will work on 5/8" glass. I am really more worried about the thing holding water(see my other post about caulking), and getting it up and running. I am building the stand now, so when thats done, I will probably set it up in the garage, get the plumbing setup, and run it for a week or so on tap water, to make sure its stable, then move it inside.
