Just set up fuge last week brown alge???

I just set up a 20 gal fuge in a rubbermaid container last week with 4" of livesand, 1 lb. live rock rubble, 1/2 lb. grape caulerpa. I leave my 150 watt indoor plant light on from 7am to 7pm, and my 20 watt actinic on 24/7. The question is that I am getting brown alge all over the place in the fuge, even on the caulerpa. Is this normal? What should I do?

I agree about the diatoms and I just got finished setting up my new rubbbermaid refugium. The problem I had was I did not have enough circulation and I had cyano all over the place. I put a new rio pump in the refugium and it solved it.
