just set up QT

just set up QT and theres nothing in 55 but Live rock and sand. i lost a tomato clown this morning to my ich problem. all igot left is a yellow tang and a couple of chromis. now what do i do with 55 gal? just let it run and lower the salt desity?what about heat and lighting? does filter and skimmer continue to run?

How long has it been setup (QT tank)? Has it cycled yet?

no i just set it up ,added salt, waited for 78 degrees and dumped in fish. i had to get them out of infested tank quick.

Well hopefuly that wont shock them. But yes youll need a heater. As far as lights that is not a must. I dont even turn my lights on in my QT. Maybe a power head for circulation. Hyposalinity is the best for ick. However you probably will kill your LR if you have any in the QT.
