Can someone please give me an ID on the small round looking deals in my tank. They are kind of blue-green in color with some tube looking growth around them. Please help. Also can someone give me an idea what kind of algea is around this stuff. It is very green and thick. Both items are in very heavy flow as you can see. Thanks in advance.

The algea around it is hair algea. The other algea I had in my tank and it didnt really spread but I didnt seen any harsh effects.

Is that good? I have been fighting hair algea. I found the problem (Bad RO/DI water from LFS) now I'm hoping I can get rid of the rest of it.

its another type of algae, slow grower. should go away if problem is iraticated
