just some pictures of my fish in my 120g

This is our clown fish..he isn't very funny at all..his name is not nemo ..His name is what ever we call him when ever he bites us  . He is a mean evil little thing but we won't give up on him like his previous owners.

A picture of all of our six blue green Chromis. Our clown likes to break up their shoal just for fun and also because he is mean. Just you wait little clown..those little chromis will be just as big as you some day.

This one is a picture of my coral beauty angel, lawnmower blenny in the middle and my Ocellaris clown on the right.

A better picture of the coral beauty angel.

cool picture of our lawnmower blenny with a chromis..That chromis is the one we saved. He got sucked up into the sump..our LFS told us something like that will never happen to a healthy fish. After turning off all the pumps and messing up our u tube siphon we took him out of the DT and put him in the QT. After a couple of weeks of making him fat and happy in the QT. We decided to put him back into the DT and now the little Chromis is doing great.

A better picture of the lawnmower blenny.

All the green razor kelp you see here is going to be tang food some day. I am trying to grow as much natural food I can for a tang. I won't buy a tang untill my DT is at least a year old.

Right now my 120g is only 5 months old.

yeah I know..we need more live rock..we are taking it slow

Oh, I like your tank.
I wast thinking of getting 6 Chromis as well, but was told to go with odd numbers AND to add them last. How are yours doing and where did you get yours?

mine bites me too. If you wear a ring of silver or gold, it will go after that instead of your skin. Everytime I feed i get bit. Ahh, what fun.

At first we had 7 chromis they were getting along just fine, then one day I realised the 7th chromis's tail had cotton looking things on his tail. My LFS said it was just scabs from a previous wound. Thats when I said to my husband we better buy QT for our fish. We didn't buy one before because our LFS kept telling us we didn't need one so soon in the hobby. The next day after we set up our QT..it happened.. I don't know which fish did it.. that chromis with all the scabs on its tail was laying on the bottom of the DT with a big chunk of its tail missing. We took him out as fast as possible ..an hour later he was dead. We couldn't put him in the QT..it wasn't old enough. I know now, that a QT is always good to have, even if you are new to the hobby. If I had one earlier I'm sure that chromis would still be alive. We bought all of those chromis from the LFS. That was back in Feb, we got them because they are known to make your angel less skittish. I know people say to keep them in odd numbers but my six seem to be doing fine. Since then one of my chromis has gotten huge and seems to be the leader of the pack. He is now a little over half the size of my clown and still growing.

sea, thanks for the info. And yes, I believe a QT is a must and IMO especially when you are first starting out. I'm just now getting my 125 gal tank going and so far I only have two percs and clean up crew in it. My two Bangaii Cardinals are in QT and every fish and coral I get will be in QT for three weeks before going into my DT. If the new fish come down with something it's really easy for me to start Hypo and I don't even have to move them (less stress
). I frown on lfs that tell newbies they don't need a QT. Glad to see your other six Chromis are doing well. They sure look nice.

I don't buy fish from that shop anymore. I am wanting to get another clown. There is this place down in San Antonio that is called finaddicts and omg that store is awesome. You should see some of their coral they have plenty to chose from and everything in their store is happy and healthy. I got my lawnmower blenny there and he was so healthy that he had no problem getting use to my tank. After we added him he started eating right away.
