I've have gone years with hardly any salt creep and recently I'm getting what I consider alot ( probably is not considered much at all by others ). Anyone know why this would happen ?

is the salt creep concentrated around one area of the tank? near an overflow or powerhead? i notice increased salt creep where there is falling water, like when my DT volume gets a little low and my skimmer splashes the surface.

+1 splashes even small ones are the usual reason for salt creep. Anywhere the water constantly splashes is going to get a build up.
