Just Starting "Newb"

Iam setting a 10gal tank up so I was wondering what I need to setup this tank "Walmart tank". I already no to get live sand, rock and the basic stuff. But what should I get to make this a very nice tank. Iam wanting to put some Damsel's in there and still have some room left for the fish.
If possible put some pic's so I can base my tanke off yours.

if you put damsels they are usually mean and will pick on other fish. in my ten gallon i have a clown fish and a yellow clown gobie they get along fine.

yea damsels can become very mean. plus 10 gallons can only hold 3 small small fish MAX

Thanxs for the tip. What Clown would be good and with that Clown could I put a firefish Goby with it.

a true perc is best in a 10
the occ clown will work
and yes they will get along just great

Could I put two perc clowns and a firefish goby together in the the 10gal or will there be to much fighting.

you can but just starting a tank might mess up your bioload and pollute your new tank with nitrates.
if you want.. add a pair of clowns. then wait awhile like 6 months and add the firefish or vise versa

Thank you very much. I'll keep you posted, when i can get everything in and cycled meaning ls and lr crued or cycle 'when the tank clouds up".

it may or may not "cloud up" during the cycle... just give it about 4 weeks and test it

O ok didnt know if it clouds up or not. But I will be sure to check it often.

yea mine never clouded ... but i guess that might depend on how cured your LR is

Whats better to have with a firefish goby a true or false perc.

i dont think that matters.... but true percs are better for a 10gal.

yep But as stated, I wouldn't add them all at once.
