Just Starting out

At the moment I have nothing, but I am planning on starting at least a 55g saltwater reef/fish tank. Possibly a 75. I am wondering what all I need to do, which would be better, and any general info I should know liek which fish are the best to have. Any feed back would eb much appreciated. Also what equipment should I use?

Welcome to the hobby, just a little warning, it sucks you in! First off, just read read read, all the posts about lighting and fish, everything you can, books, etc. Find a very knowledgable and helpful fish store that can help you and show you exactly what you are going to need and want, for the money you have budgeted. I will tell you what I tell everyone that asks this question. Buy a book and learn it, then ask us the questions you have left. Because if you don't know very much yet, you will not know what questions you should ask. My book recomendation would be to start with "complete idiots guide to saltwater fish" It is a good starting place. And beware, when you get started you will be addicted.
