Can I tell you, I dont have the HD yet but now I have 250 channels BUT I think the standard picture on the cable is BETTER than the satellite. OR am I crazy?
Whats your opinion?

Heck no! I hate my cable, Dish is such a better setup. The picture is actually clearer, the sound is better. Seriously I remember watching the Texas USC game through so much snow, b/c the cable people suck. However I NEVER had any such problems with Dish. I also love how you actually get good channels like speed and NFL network without having to pay extra.

We have Dishnetwork. The best part about it was that in the last superbowl everyone with cable (and Direct TV too, I think) missed a good chunk of the game (part of the halftime show and some or all of the second half or something like that). People with Dish Network didn't have a problem.

Direct TV did not lose any of the game I have it and didn't get a glitch.To all that say cable has a better picture then satilite you all are smoking some good stuff.I have had it and it sucks the big one.Maybe dish network has a crapy picture but my dtv cable couldnt compair.Also cable bends you over with their pricing on TV.They make you pay for channels that are free on satilite to sell tier that no one wants.
