I thought you and CFR and Ruaround didn't even have tanks

I like the Niger/Huma combo, I had them together for several years in my last tank....That's a big Damsal.

I know it seams like we are just here to talk in the aquarium .
I actually have two tanks . This one and a nano reef that started out as a mantis tank but never got around to getting a mantis for it .
Thanks , I like the combo . I was debating between a niger and a Tusk . The niger was a good deal and so that helped me decide .
Thanks everybody .

I just LOVE your triggers. They are some of the most interesting fish. (I can't have them as I only have a 90 gallon reef but this is the first forum I check everyday.)
Is your Humahuma or your Niger more friendly towards you? Or do you need to feed them with a stick?
Is that really a damsel? I haven't seem one that big before.
The LFS has a very large Niger Trigger in an enormous round tank (like 10 feet tall and maybe a 25 foot circumference). He has two red teeth (?). Anyone that comes close to the tank and he goes to see them. Love that fish!

The Humu humu is very friendly and is always checking me out . I'm telling you he can see in to the kitchen . Because if I open the freezer for any reason he is at the ocrner of the tank begging like a dog .
I got the Damsel for free . The lfs said he was returned because he has an attitude . I was like well I will take him and see what kind of attitude he has . At the time he was the lone fish in the tank . He thought he was going to bully the Humu humu
That lasted all of a few minutes .
The Niger is the latest addition and went fin to fin with the Humu humu at first . But all is well now and they seam to get along fairly well . He hasn't gotten into the routine of things enough yet to be friendly .

Looking good buddy! I like the rock job, did you drill the rock, and put in rods to get it to stay like that?

Thanks crimzy , hammerhed......
I did not drill any of it . There are a few piece of large lace rock that I think are key . Here is a picture and I circled the large pieces of lace rock .

I don't think an eel is in the plan right now . Maybe when I up grade .

looks like a solid rock job, I see you have a star, I would have thought the triggers would eat the star, I have kept a chocolate chip and a red general with blue jaw, but I would have thought a huma would attack the star.

Once and a while the Humu humu will pull him off the glass. But they never try and take bites out of him .
