Just to be clear on Ich

I have a problem with Ich in my tank, and I was wondering if Ich only affects fish. If I remove all fish from my tank to a QT, will my corals and inverts be safe while I wait out the death of the Ich.

One more question. When you all use your QT tank for new arrivals, is only for fish, or do you use it for corals and inverts as well. This may be a dumb question, but I just want to make sure I do everything in order to avoid another outbreak of any kind.

I have a blue tang that gets ich. The only thing that has worked for me is Kent Marine Garlic Xtreme. I also add a little to the tank when adding new fish.
