Just wanted to check my stock list.

Hi forum.
I think my stock list for my 55g FOWLR is ok, but I just wanted to check. If a fish has an X by it, it was already added.
X- 2 Green Chromis
X- 2 Ocellaris Clownfish
X- 1 Six Line Wrasse
2 Neon Gobies
1 Coral Beauty Angelfish*
If this is not realistic, please tell me what would be.

Hi,
My little fish book recommends only 1 neon goby in a 55g, they will fight. The rest of your list looks pretty good to me. The dwarf angelfish will be fine, I think I would also try an Orchid Dottyback or perhaps a Royal Gramma as well. (one or the other, the dottyback and gramma would fight)

I always thought you had to keep 2 neon gobies because they would become a mated pair. I'll research that further. I was going to maybe get a royal gramma, but I read that they are aggressive.

+1. The Coral beauty will do fine in a 55g.
The 2 chromis might become 1 chromis soon. They usually end up in odd numbers. But they could get along fine for years.

The Chromis have done fine for 5 months. Fingers crossed it stays that way. I have read that many groups of 3+ whittle down to 2 then coexist, so I was hoping they would do fine together.

I read somewhere that 2 Chromis together would be fine as long they're 1 male & 1 female. They're hard to sex tho. 2 males or 2 females will fight.
