Hey. My brothers and I own a landscaping business and we do install mini ponds. I would be glad to give you a hand free of charge. As for the critters. Where do you live? There are a number of ways to rid yourself of these. If you don't live in the city a .22 rifle will do the trick nicely. If you do live in the city there are live traps where you just put some ch9icken or whatever in them and the critters will go after that first. Catch them and relocate them to steves backyard so they can eat the fish in his pond
