Kalkwasser Dripper?

I was wondering what type of set up people use to drip the kalkwasser/lime water?
A friend uses a IV bag and has offered to give me one. Is this a good way to do it? :help:

I used this model way back when...its a 5 gal Rubbermaid gas can with an IV dripper. Just make sure you keep the intake of the IV dripper about 1" off the bottom so it doesn't suck up any settled Calcium Hydroxide.

do you put the gas can above your fish tank??

Yeah, drippers work on gravity. So it needs to be higher than the place you are dripping it, the tank sump etc.

I think he was just more shocked about it actually being a gas can than having it above the tank

I just threw in under the stand and let it drip into the sump...I used a smaller version (2.5 gal) most of the time..
