Hello I was wondering how often should KALKWASSER to be added to aquarium, and what exactly are the benefits of adding the KALKWASSER.

Kalkwasser is good for maintaining established calcium/alkalinity levels and can also help precipitate phosphates out of the system. Most users drip kalk slowly with all top-off water. I add about a gal of kalk daily.Mine is pre-mixed at a tablespoon of powder per 1 gal of water....try to insure the scum on top and the sediment on the bottom are not added to your system.

Can you add calcium by kent weekly and then kalkwasser daily?
