Does anyone know what a 5,500k bulb looks like color wise(is it white. Also what doea a 10,000k bulb look like is it blue at all. If I want a bulb that is blue do I go for a 20,000k bulb. So confused.
Thanks for your help.

5,500k is yellow in color
10,000k is white not blue at all
I think 20,000k is really blue
Maybe try 14,000k
I could be wrong though

even a 6500K is yellow in color.
A 10000K is the best all around bulb via actinic flourescents (optional).
The 20000K bulb is like an actinic flourescent lamp in color. It is the blue only spectrum and won't look good by itself unless supplemented with daylight VHO's. The 20000K bulb is almost like a blacklight.
