Is that rap up a party, as in a good thing, or WRAP up a party, as in everyone leaves as soon as the kareoke starts.

No. I'm really bad at singing (one of the only kids in elem. school ever to have a hard time passing the Do-Re-Me-Fa-So-La test in music class
) and won't what to put other people through it. I don't pretend to know how to dry clean and I won't pretend to sing. Also not a fan of others singing bad. This is why I'm not a big concert guy either. IMHO 99% of bands/artists sound terrible live in concert compared to their enhanced CD's (I also don't get the whole 'grooving down thing,' but that's a separate issue)... Last thing I want to hear is some yahoo who's had 3 beers
trying to shatter glasses. Put a CD on...

Yep. I don't do it often but I was in choir for 6+ years and band too......I played flute (please no American Pie jokes). I love to sing and I get less nervous singing than I do speaking in public. Weird I know.
