keep canister or not?

hi,
right now I have a seio 820,an aquaclear 275 gph and a fluval fx5 (920 gph)
on my 75 gallon reef.
the tank is 4 months old and has about 70 lbs live rock
would it be ok to get rid of the fluval? when I clean it there is a lot of crap in the water in the unit.
I also have a via aqua multi skimmer.
my chemical levels are always perfect but the fluval is so big and messy to clean.

Take everything out of it and use it for flow in your tank.

I would get rid of it if it were me. If you need more flow buy a maxi jet 1200.

i personnally dont like canisters. but if you dont mind maintence on it you can use it as a giant carbon reactor like. or keep it as it's sapose to do ( a in-line mechanical filter ) i mean it's working is it not.. and if it's not much of a choir then why now?? like i said if you dont mind then keep it. i on the other hand dont like them ( seem like way too much trouble for me )
