Keeping dwarf sh?

I have a 3 gal tank and I want to get some dwarf sh in it.
Can anyone tell me how to keep them.
I know they need hitching posts and I can get lr and ls from my other tanks.

I might just buy a 5 gal setup with a hood and lights and just put fake stuff in there or dead rock.
Will that be good?

Yeah NO LIVE stuff in Dwarf tanks....the "critters" can take out ur horses in a second
Rykna is the "pony guru" and has TONS of threads on here that Im sure have all the info u need.....she got me started in it a few months ago!!!

So this will probably be the setup
Sponge filter with dead rock and sand. With some hitching posts.
I'm I missing anything else?

IMHO u may want to consider a bigger tank unless u will be doing daily water changes to ensure water quality.......I do a WC every 2 or 3 days.......ponies have been MUCH happier and healthier this way.
I have a 10g and I feel like I am always cleaning it
