I just got a new umbrella mushroom today,
but how can I keep it in the spot I want it?

It keeps getting pushed off the places I put because of my powerheads.
It doesnt have any liverock attached to weigh it down...I am getting tired of finding it upside down in the sand!

put some sand and small pieces of rock rubble in a clear tupperware and place the mushroom on it and place in the tank. After about 10 days the mushroom will grab some sand or rock with its foot. Then you can super glue the sandy foot to your live rock where ever you want.
Where you at in southern IN. I just move from bloomington to terre haute. definatly not an upgrade but a great lfs

terra haute...
swahili word meaning EXTRA STINKY!

BTW, jaymz is correct. I use rubble. I like the way it glues better.
Not sure if this was your point but this place does stink!

I am in Marengo---about 45 minutes or so south of Bloomington.
Do I need to use the reef glue, or will regular superglue be ok??
Want to use whatever wont bother the tank........
Terra Haute....ewwwww. Yes, Creosoot (sp?) what they put on the ties is stinky......But I imagine it may the brewery more so---distillers grains are really smelly!!

Yes regular super glue will work. I get mine at the Dollar Tree, 3 tubes for $1cant beat it. Also make sure it is super glue gel regular super glue is hard to work with.
The only thing you need to make sure is that it is a cyanoacrylate super glue. most super glues are this type it will have the word cyanoacrylate on the tube or the ingrediants list on the package.
The water of your tank actually helps it cured/harden faster and it is inert once it starts hardening so it will not harm your tank.
