kent marine protein skimmer

just like to know if anyone has one and does it do the job
I have a 90 gal glass with a 30 gal sump. does the skimmer sit in the sump with its own pump and does it come with one. what size pump do yo use with it . there are so many skimmers but for the first time haveing a skimmer I'd rather by less for now. I have seen the reef devel and estt cpr.so many have $$$$ if this will do the job , my tank has mostly fish and will get a handful of corals thats it . 100 l/s 80 rock

I have the Kent Skimmer and it seems to be working fine. It took approx. 5 days to break in and since then no micro bubbles into the tank. It does not come with it's own pump. I use a Rio 2500, which is reccomended by Kent, again seem to be a good match. i like the design, it is very easy to clean. Make sure you note the size of the skimmer, it is large, make sure there is room for everything that you want in yoour sump. Mine is a tight fit.
I have a fairly low bioload at this point, the tank has been up for only three months.
