If you have it external, you can try placeing something under the pump to reduce the vibration. Mouspad, styro, etc.

It's in the sump. I think it's the TE model. Seems to be working pretty good but it's loud as hell. I have the foam ring at the top of the spillover, maybe if I put it at the bottom?

mine is *louder* than hell... I hope there is some way to quiet it down. I have a mag7 on it. The water coming out of the exhaust through the foam isn't where my noise is coming from.. it's the actual pump and the turbo eductor thing that is on the pump intake, and all the bubbles going through the about 1/2ft of tubing that I have on it. I'm wondering how to quiet this sucker down myself.. . ?

Yep, that's the same with mine. Kind of a sick, gargling noise. There's gotta be a way to shut that thing up.
